Paris, L.A. Style!

Faubourg St. Denis is not just a street in the 10th arrondissement, it's also a landmarked historic condo building in one of Los Angeles' best nabes. Built in 1928 and Hancock Park adjacent, the swanky building has a spa, pool, gym, and, the most important thing in L.A., gated parking. This 3 bed/2.5 bath with dark wood floors, rich molding, high ceilings, fireplac and marble baths, is asking a reasonable $849K. The blindingly-white walls and ceilings may not suit everyone's taste (it's a bit too stark for us, but that's what Farrow & Ball is for, or good old Benjamin Moore!), but the rooms proportions are fabulous—as is the very idea of living in this enchanting building.
