Music City Mania

It happened again: we were minding our business in a local store (ok, we were eavesdropping), when we overheard someone talking about a couple they knew who had just packed up and moved to Nashville, Tennessee. "They got a great house and their monthly mortgage is less than renting a small apartment here!" There's a reason we keep hearing this story—Music City has awesome houses at reasonable prices. Why, here's one now: nearly 2000 square feet, with 3 beds/2 baths in the historic Lockeland Springs nabe (2 miles from downtown), this reno'd Victorian bungalow has amazing curb appeal (we're dying over that porch), leaded glass windows, burnished wood floors, crown molding, interior columns, and a sweet patio and yard. Asking price? $339.9K. You're thinking about moving there now, too, aren't you? Take a closer look here
