No, we're not referencing the hideously awful Bruce Willis movie, but
actual hawks flying over New York State's gorgeously green Hudson
Valley. Because that's what you'd see from the deck of this 1700 square
foot lakefront cottage there, in the village of Philmont and on the
market for $275K (you'll also be able to spot bald eagles, swans,
beavers, etc.). There are 2 beds/3 baths, large windows overlooking
Summit Lake, a garden, and the fantastic Local 111 restaurant just down
the block (we recommend the roast chicken with creamy polenta or the
cornmeal crusted fried haddock sandwich). The perfect weekend house? We
