Wet 'n Dry

Ocean Grove, New Jersey, is one of the quirkiest places you'll ever come across. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places for the abundance of Victorian homes, the tiny shore town (under 5000) was founded in the 19th century by Methodists as a summer camp site. Today, services are still held at the Great Auditorium, which is surrounded by 114 wooden floored tents occupied by vacationing worshippers. Although there is a law prohibiting liquor sales, there isn't one saying you have to be religious to live in the charming, garden-strewn seaside town, so consider this 2 bed/1 bath cottage on the market for $369K. Although you might want to take the 'twee' factor down a notch (pink! blue! yellow! frills!), the wrap-around porch, hardwood floors, fireplace and salt air will win you over.
